Pakistan's relations with neighboring countries.

Pakistan is a peaceful Islamic country with its potential. Pakistan has always tried to maintain friendly relations with its neighboring countries. Below is an overview of Pakistan's relations with its immediate neighbours:

Relation with India:

India is a most nearest country of Pakistan. Since the existence of Pakistan emerged from the sub-continent of Pakistan and India, there are many aspects of history, geography and culture of Pakistan in common with India. The length of the common border between the two countries is about 2163 km. According to international norms, Pakistan's relations with India should be very close and controlled, but this goal could not be achieved. Since the partition of the Indian sub-continent, many problems arose between India and Pakistan, on the basis of which the differences are still present, but the help of Allah and the determination and independence of the Pakistani people and forces always protected this country. The history of Pakistan and India has become a history of wars. The first war was fought in 1948. In this war fought on the Kashmir front, the Pakistani people, tribals and armed forces bravely faced the Indian armed forces. Not only successfully defended the motherland, but also vacated a significant area of Azad Jammu and Kashmir from the occupation of India. In this war, the role of the tribal armies was of special importance, which had reached Srinagar. Indian Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru approved the ceasefire resolution in the Security Council. In the Security Council, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru admitted that he would give Kashmiris the right to self-determination, but it proved to be a false promise. In 1965, on the night of September 6, the war between Pakistan and India began on the front of Lahore Kasur and Sialkot. The Pakistani army, showing courage, fully responded to the Indian attack and pushed the enemy back. In December 1971, war started again between India and Pakistan. In this war, India had some support from the local people, due to which Pakistan lost a part of itself and East Pakistan appeared on the world map as Bangladesh on 16 December 1971.
Apart from the wars, other matters between India and Pakistan have not been happy either, be it the issue of urban water in the early days or the distribution of defense and financial assets, the accession of states or border issues. Indian leadership does not seem serious to solve all other problems including Kashmir issue. Although there were discussions on many matters to restore confidence between the two countries, including trade, bus service, exchange of delegations and Kartarpur Corridor etc. The people of both the countries also want that the resources spent on war should be spent on solving the problems of the people.
Until the issue of Kashmir is resolved, these relations cannot be established on a strong basis in a pleasant atmosphere. According to Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Kashmir is the artery of Pakistan, so a fair resolution of the Kashmir issue is necessary for the establishment of happy relations between the two states.
