The truth about this disease is better than cure in Urdu proverb, or in other words, other preventive measures and precautions are the real cure for this disease. Because dengue fever is usually a self-limiting fever.
Which is called Self Limited fever in medical terms and a strange aspect of its symptoms is that the patient affected by this disease does not appear to have any symptoms and on the other hand, in the severity of this disease, blood flows from the body. Decreasing etc. is described. The transmission of dengue virus from one person to another is very rare. That is, it is very rare to transmit dengue by treating a patient infected with dengue.
The origin of the word dengue is unknown, but there are more than one opinion about it, according to some, it is derived from the Swahili language. Since the 1960, the incidence of dengue fever has increased exponentially, when the virus was identified in millions of people each year. Then the symptoms and effects of this disease were carefully and formally studied in 1979. Dengue fever emerged as a global problem after the Second World War and today the dengue virus is the cause of dengue fever in one form or another in 110 countries of the world. Its source of spread in humans is a mosquito whose scientific name is AEDES AEGYPTI and another common name is house mosquito. This mosquito is found in areas with an altitude of less than 1000 meters i.e. 3300 feet. It then lives in and around our homes and thrives in clean water. The special breeding places of indoor mosquitoes are those where there is moisture and darkness, and outside the house, this mosquito also seeks moisture, darkness and coolness for breeding.
The dengue mosquito thrives in clean water and that too clean water that has been stored. This mosquito bites during the day and attacks especially at the time of sunrise and sunset ie from 6 am to 9 am and in the evening from 4 pm to 10 pm. It should be remembered that this particular mosquito dies in severe weather, i.e. in severe cold and severe summer.
Thus, there are four types of dengue virus, but all these types cause the same disease. The process of mosquito bite and transmission of the virus is completed in two days to one week. In some instances, a period of four days to two weeks has been noted between the mosquito ingesting the virus and the effects of the virus becoming apparent. By the bite of this mosquito, the number of viruses in the body increases so much that the initial symptoms of the disease begin to appear. Therefore, people who have traveled from an endemic area and have them after two weeks. If there is a complaint of fever, then we can say that they are not infected with dengue virus.
In the beginning there is a general headache, fatigue and sati, then suddenly there is a high fever, headache with fever (especially in the forehead), severe pain in the spine, pain in the joints and then all these pains. It begins to show its effect in the body and the joints are affected by pain and the back is also affected as a result of this disease, the common name of this fever is BREAK BONE FEVER. This name was proposed in 1789. Due to this fever, the following effects occur on the patient's eyes: Difficulty moving the eyes and feeling discomfort. Continual watery discharge, and reddening of the eyes along with general symptoms include loss of appetite of the patient, nausea, vomiting, slow heart rate i.e. dangerously low blood pressure and severe depression of the patient. etc. Once infected with the dengue virus, the patient may have a continuous fever and sometimes after a rapid onset, it breaks in the fourth or fifth day, but the fever strikes again. At the beginning of the disease. Fifty to 10% of the patients have small spots on their body and after a few days these reddish spots will cover the whole body. Except for the palms and soles of the feet. The distinctive feature of these reddish spots is that if pressure is applied to them, they become discolored temporarily. Once the dengue virus attacks, the most severe condition of this disease is called Dengue Shock Syndrome etc. in the medical term, but this only happens in five percent of dengue infected patients. The coagulant particles and white cells begin to shrink and then blood starts coming from the nose, mouth, ears, and due to the progression of the disease, blood is also released from the intestines and stomach. Also, sometimes due to blood clots in the blood vessels, some other complications also appear. Apart from this, fainting is also affected by dengue virus.
- To stop the breeding of mosquitoes, cooperate fully with the government and party efforts and do your own best to prevent any such situation from accumulating water in your house and its surroundings. It is a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Also, avoid mosquito attacks especially during sunrise and sunset, wear long-sleeved shirts, cover your body even when walking on grassy areas so that mosquitoes cannot bite. Use mosquito repellent sprays, mats, coils in houses and offices to kill mosquitoes and put nets on windows and doors so that no more mosquitoes come in from outside. Anti-mosquito lotions etc. must be applied to the exposed parts of the body and if there is a need to sleep outside the room, the use of mosquito nets is useful.
May Allah keep all the people in His special protection and give speedy recovery to the loved ones. Amen
